In addition to the main Phonak brand, Sonova now offers its customers the most comprehensive and highest-quality range of hearing instruments in the industry through the Unitron brand, as well as the Sona and Lyric brands, which were added during financial year 2009/10. In the hearing implant sector, the Group was able to expand its product offering to include cochlear implants through the acquisition of Advanced Bionics.
